The house clearly exhibits an agricultural vocation, as evidenced by the olive mill, the land where vines were cultivated, but also plants then considered exotic such as cherry, peach, apricot trees, and the stable for animal husbandry. The dwelling gets its name from a graffiti depicting a cargo ship named Europa, like the daughter of the king of Tyre who was abducted by Zeus in disguise as a bull.
Currently, the ancient vineyard has been recreated by planting vines of the piedirosso and sciascinoso varieties.
