The domus housed an industrial bakery with a large oven, areas for bread preparation, warehouses, a sales point, and a stable where the skeletons of mules used for this type of activity were discovered. The house of the wealthy baker was under renovation; in fact, many preparatory drawings are present on the walls. The name of the dwelling was determined by a fresco found in the dining room depicting two lovers chastely at a banquet.
