The House Of Paquius Proculus

Visitors  will enjoy seeing the fabulous flooring of this abode, one of the most beautiful in Pompei depicting different animals.
This house goes back to 11 d.c and it has got 3 floors.  This house also has a main entrance with the so famous DOG MOSAIC, BEWARE OF THE DOG.
A marble pond sits in the middle of the garden with 4 columns supporting the pergola.  Again we can see different paintings of the River Nile in the Triclinio.
