Agriculture was very important in Roman times and the excavations near Boscoreale show an ancient farm that gives a lot of information.
Visitor can see the rooms where agricultural products were processed, where wine was produced, etc. Kitchen is very interesting and there are many important items, such as a cistern. In the courtyard of this farm a cart used to transport goods was found. A real vineyard was recreated.
